SusEd Coordinators Workshop
This workshop is designed to empower educational coordinators with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles and to foster sustainable learning environments.
Participants will explore the core responsibilities of their positions, delve into key documents, and connect with their school’s ecosystem. The workshop will also focus on creating optimal learning environments for sustainability education, utilising pedagogical tools, and leading colleagues through effective andragogical approaches. Through interactive sessions, you will define their roles, prioritise tasks, and design professional learning sessions that promote inquiry-based and student-centred learning.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of their roles as pedagogical leaders and be equipped with practical strategies to enhance their school’s educational practices.
Learning Objectives
Understanding the fundamental purpose and responsibilities of the coordinator role, and effectively prioritising tasks to align with the school’s mission and goals.
Identifying and leveraging key documents to support and enhance the coordinator’s role, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
Defining and creating environments that support sustainable education, considering various factors such as facilities, technology, and cultural assets.
Developing skills in adult learning theories and strategies to design and lead professional development sessions that foster collaboration and continuous improvement among colleagues.

2.5 days across ten 90 minute sessions.
Pricing
Fee: €695 (excluding VAT)
The standard booking fee of €695 applies to all bookings made up to 10 days in advance of the start of a workshop. After that, a €100 surcharge will be levied and all bookings made 10 days or less before a workshop will be charged at €795 (plus VAT, if applicable).
A significant portion of each fee is reinvested into SusEd’s sustainable service projects in Thailand, Zambia, Ireland and South Africa.
